« Éch picard din chl’intarnéte »
« Ch’Lanchron » is the quarterly journal that has been written and edited completely in Picard since April, 1980.
The association (of the same name) that runs it has as a goal to « make the Picard language live » (article 2 of its statutes).
The 27th of October, 1996, « Ch’Lanchron » created the first site dedicated to Picard on the Internet, with the subtitle « Éch picard din chl’intarnéte ». These first pages, which soon became numerous and diversified, equally constituted one of the very first sites dedicated to a regional language of France. In January 2011, this site became lanchron.fr .
A supplement of the quarterly journal, « entirely in Picard », lanchron.fr offers more than 230 pages of information that is primarily written in French. Below is an overview of the contents of the site.
